What is a Bursar?

"Bursar" is a term unique to higher education.  The Office of the Bursar maintains student financial records with integrity, while providing quality customer service delivered with respect and fairness to all internal and external customers.  The Bursar's Office bills and collects tuition, fees, campus housing, and other university related charges in accordance with University policy.  We also audit student accounts, request refunds, and invoice third party agencies.
